Myst

In writing block we are playing a game called Myst. Myst is about mysteries. It is very fun but it is also very scary the first time you play it. 4/5J are playing it as well. They are up to a new world. We are up to and still on the the first world. Myst is REALLY REALLY Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hector's Dolphins

Dolphins are mammals of the sea. Mammals are warm blooded and give birth to live young. The smallest dolphins are 1.4m in length.Hector's Dolphins are one of the four species of Cephalorhynchus.


Hector's Dolphins have no visible beak and a rounded Dorsal fin. The tip of the dolphins beak are black. His dolphins have a grey forehead with streaks of black and their throat and chest are white. The dolphins have a belly that is white with stripes running up the sides from under the Dorsal fin. Hector's dolphins are 9kg at birth and can grow to 40-60 kg and they live up to 20 years of age.


Hector's dolphins eat fish,squid and some crustaceans like crabs and lobsters. Hector's dolphins can chase fish with echolocation around the harbour. They don't detect many of the hundred of gillnets sets.Hector's dolphins are endangered because the get entagaled in nets and drown.


Hector's dolphins are unique to New Zealand. Their are 2 kown main populations on each side of the South Island. They are cut off from one another because they are unwilling or unable to cross deep water.Hector's dolphins are sighted at about 10 km offshore in summer.


In 1988 marine reserves created around Banks Penisula to prohibt gillnet activity in the area. Other threats to these animals are boat propeller collisions. Their increase in numbers have not yet been recorded. Hector's dolphins are one of the rarest marine animals in the world is classified as criticly endangerd.

Zac Power Undercover

I am reading Zac Power Undercover. It is a really good story so far because Zac is playing volleyball at PE ( Physical Education) when Leon ( Zac's Little Brother) Calls Zac in to the change rooms for a mission. He has brought a Triox ( a three-wheeled car) . I would recommend this book who love adventure and spy's.

The Day My Bum Went Psycho

I am reading The Day My Bum Went Psycho. It is by And Griffiths. It is a very interesting story.I like this book because it is really funny and cool because a kid called Zach has lost his bum and he has to go through the Great Windy Desert. I am in the middle of chapter 5 and it is very cool and funny. I would recommend this book to people who like comedy and adventure books.

The Strange Events

Hi I'm Murphy. This is my cousin Katie. We thought we were the only ones who had noticed the strange events... then we saw the news report on the TV... So, we went outside to look for the strange events. I found the first strange event at the beach. It was a six-headed hammer head shark!! About an hour later Katie saw another ,it was a six-legged dog!! Katie said " Look at that thing, it looks like a six-legged dog!!" So we went back inside to look at the TV. The news cameras were still out when we were looking around! Katie realised that the people looking on TV was us. Katie screamed "Is that us?" I said "I think it is" "Yes, thats us Oh my god!!" It was about 5:00 pm when we had dinner. So at about 10:00 pm Katie and I went outside again. When Katie was looking up at the sky she saw something shinging. Katie said "Is that a plaine?" "I don't think so ." Oh My God, It's a three -headed pterodactyl ! RUN AWAY !!!" So, we ran back inside and Katie "We are never going on a strange events hunt again ! " You bet ya."I added!
